Heruon

Francis Howard CEO of Heruon and its group company, AR Live Systems (Recipient of the Home Office Security Innovation Award in 2021), is an experienced businessman and investor with business interests in Europe, USA and Asia. He has been the major investor in ARLS and Heruon since 2019 and assumed an active role in the company as CEO in April 2022. He is the youngest son of Frank Walter Howard, recipient of His Majesty’s Distinguished Service Cross, and younger brother of the late Commodore Vincent Howard (equivalent to junior admiral in the US Navy).

Heroun and AR Live systems focus on observation technology used for the collection of indisputable evidence and the detection and prevention of crime and protection of property and personnel. There has been a strong focus on prisons, policing and security services where innovative solutions overcome several problems endemic in US prisons (trials pending in several States), particularly around tracking and detection of illicit cellphones as they can monitor the identity of users and the traffic passing through those devices and also the ability to monitor individuals on probation or prison day-release to ensure compliance with the terms of their probation or day-release. The company’s unique, proprietary, award-winning products, have been recognised by the UK Home office for leading innovation in the field of security.

Heruon and ARLS technology enables police, government officials, counter terrorist units, local councils, and business owners to identify and monitor persons of interest in a legally compliant and ethical fashion: protecting lives and property.
