Peter Kawalek is Director of the Centre for Information Management at the School of Business & Economics in Loughborough University. He has an additional visiting position at the Atlantic Technological University, Ireland. Of Alliance Manchester Business School for 16+ years, where he is now Adjunct. Previously held positions at Instituto de Empresa, Warwick Business School, Deusto Business School, and School of Computer Science at Manchester, he also has wide experience working with organizations including Lancashire Constabulary, Greater Manchester Police, Digital Safety, Siemens AG., SAP, IBM, Royal Commonwealth Society, Office an Taoiseach (Prime Minister) in Dublin, the Department of Communities and Local Government (London), Leeds City Council, Salford City Council, Manchester City FC., New York City FC, Triumph Motorcycles. Has held and managed over £3m in research grants from government and research councils. Peter has developed creative projects for various agencies and key events. He has published in journals including Journal of Information Technology, European Journal of Operations Research, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Risk Analysis, International Journal of Information Management, and California Management Review.
