Mr. Sash Goswami is currently a Senior Advisor in the Office of the Administrator at FEMA, where he provides policy and program counsel to the Administrator and Deputy Administrator. Mr. Goswami has served in numerous positions since starting with FEMA in 2012, including in the agency’s Grant Programs Directorate, the Office of Chief Counsel, and the Office of Policy and Program Analysis. Mr. Goswami has also served in various detail positions with the Office of the Senior Law Enforcement Advisor, FEMA’s Executive Secretariat, and FEMA’s COVID-19 Internal Coordination Team.
Mr. Goswami holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Maryland.
In his spare time, Mr. Goswami serves as an adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he teaches a module on the intersection of emergency management and public health. He is also an avid traveler and enjoys hiking in America’s treasured national parks.
